Open Beta session has ended! If you tried out the game, SEGA would your feedback, that you can directly provide in their Official Discord Channel. Deadline for feedback is 12/24 @ 10AM JST. The game officially launches on Steam, January 28, 2025.
A quick post that i will update some more once I get some sleep. The official Virtua Fighter Discord and official website have all the command lists with the frame data for VF5 US 2.0/R.E.V.O.!
December 15, 2024 4 PM PST (7 PM EST) showcase of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. with community. Hosted by Justin Wong, KDQ Iambic, and Myke. December 16, 2024 8 PM JST is celebration on the Japan side with host Hameko.
Sega's Official 30th Anniversary site now has a section dedicated for beginners. A short guide/introduction to the 19 characters and also a FAQ. If your question is not answered in the FAQ, they will accept questions in their official discord channel. And of course, you can always ask questions in this thread on VFDC.
Revealed at The Game Awards, Virtua Fighter is back! Information will be posted in this thread as it's announced, and more details will be provided by SEGA in a VF Direct live stream show on December 13, 2024 12 AM EST (2 PM JST).
Update available now for PS4/PS5. R.E.V.O. also has these game system changes.
@Juicebox_FGC has produced another amazing video explaining the concept of love! Namely, the notation of move commands, the HUD elements, and the basics of starting your offense in Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown (and soon, R.E.V.O as well).
SuperGolden wrote a Python script that collects fighting game match data from YouTube videos efficiently. Specifically, with this script, he surveyed over 11,000 VF5US/VFeS online matches uploaded on vfans YouTube account. A variety of stats from those matches, plus a very useful filter and search tool to find specific matches, are available on his VirtuAnalytics website (works only on desktop).
