stomping someone is one of the most gratifying moves to pull off when I am fighting an opponent that pisses me off. I also agree stances are great like eileen's 8P+K+G

Nah, its all about the backflip or cartwheel. I know when I first started playing Goh I used to just sidestep around the body, cause he walks like a badass.

I remember playing somebody in their 5 round session, who when they won a round would always turn their back on me.

It took me a couple of rounds before I realised it was deliberate... and it cheesed me right off.

I guess I was wondering about during-fight taboos, but thanks for the insight! Just got the game tonight...have a 5-20 record...I'm pretty bad. Hope to see some of you on though!

You made me remember one. The 'going back home' taunt. The complete routine is to use a turn around move and then walk away from the opponent. You can see it in some VF5 matches on YouTube now and again. It looks pretty cool with some characters too, Goh and Brad in particular.

Oh, during fight pretty much everything is fair game. But constant LP spammage, especially on-line is really lame. Then again, if the opponent can't get around that he should wise up quickly or will have to stop playing the game altogether really.

there are no in game taboo's if you can do it and it works keep hitting them with it. I personlly get annoyed when someone keeps trying to ring me out and makes it blatantly obvious that they're trying it as a sign of disrespect, but if it works do it. Just make sure you're not abusing something weak about the player and confuse that for being a strong technique that'll work against better opponents. That's a big mistake to make.

After every match I send death threats and pictures of myself, naked, wearing a hockey mask. Is that taboo?

I think it was Segaru that used to make his Wolf keep walking "on"/towards the downed opponent? Always liked that.

This thread is hilarious. I just like to /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif with Pai.

If they keel over when I win, I like to menacingly walk into them until they're in position for the Pedigree. Then I do that.

The funniest taunt with pai is when you do the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif over and over making it seem like a dance whole while or doing the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif followed by the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif and just repeat it that pattern

The funniest things I see is when an El Blaze, Wolf, or Vanessa player charges forward and runs out of bounds after a win. In the case of El Blaze in particular you can actually run towards someone then run the other way back and forth I see that often with El Blaze characters that beat me it makes me laugh so hard when I see it.

Nah, more for mind games and a better way to space really. Crouch dashing in someones face can be used to ring-out as well...

Ahh, ok. I've seen it at few times and wasn't sure what the reasoning behind it was. Decided it must be some sort of insult.

I stomp people only when they stomp me,if not I usually do stance cancels(depends on character)or ring myself out if I'm close to the edge, like doing Sarahs /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif just to show my opponent how much gravity hates Sarah.

I will stomp on people when I feel like it mainly and if I need the extra hit and I haven't used it once then I will use it too. Mainly I will use it when I know I can get it in when they land from hitting a wall. Most of the time, I won't even do it because I am so used to see the other person get up right away that I don't jump them thinking they will get up quickly every time. If know they will do recovery kick I might just try a /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif hitting them out of their kick but the timing of it is hard to land especially if they get up quickly all the time.
