Bullshido's a terrible resource. Why do they even have a KMA forum? I can sum up their weighty discussion on all KMA's: "It sux! LOL!!! Watch me troll some KMA web site!!!"

 

You are welcome since I was reading past the first few pages. I can imagine seeing this hapkido fighter using numerous reversals that can also executed in aikijujutsu, since some techniques are not included in Aoi's arsenal.[/size]

Honestly, dude, I hate bullshido. The only thing they do is put down martial artists, or worst, a martial art style. Besides, I can imagine those members to be mindless teens that watch too much M.M.A. fights in that website, or people who do not know that they were victimized from a false martial art school.[/size]

 

I find Bullshido to be very immature - however, they're only like that because what they're saying is true, and they know it. Kinda of like a smart kid making fun of a dumb kid for being dumb - it's immature and childish, but nothing factually incorrect.

In real life, traditional martial arts are the equivalent of professional wrestling - ie, they were probably useful once, but since then they've devolved from real fighting skills to choreographed dancing and performances. But like professional wrestling, they're very good advertising themselves, and by combining eastern mysticism with movie/game product placement, they've convinced people that they're actually useful.

But unfortunately, in real life, kung fu (katas only) < karate (points-based competition) < boxing (full contact, knockout competition) < MMA (full contact, knockout, submissions, almost anything goes).

That's why they make fun of traditional martial arts - because traditional martial arts ARE useless if you actually want to hurt someone with it. And they know it, so they're rubbing it in everyone's face (again, immature and childish, but true)

 

That is what disgust me about bullshido. Though they speak the truth on fighters and a martial art's flaw, these punks explain them in an immature fashion. What those idiots do not know is techniques such as gouging, hair pulling, and fish hooking are some of the tools that are used in traditional martial arts and are useful in real-life situations. Like I said, the members of bullshido could be probably be teenagers that watch too much M.M.A. fights. I think we should put this talk on bullshido aside for good since we are also getting out of hand again.[/size]

 

All right, to break this bit about bullshido, which I thought originally was just a way to say bullshit. Ahh well.

If they have to put in TKD, I say make the practitioner an Overweight Black Rastafarian Jewish Guy. I say why go for the obvious?
