Nice one, Shinobi - thanks for the advice! I'll try Jeffry out the next time I'm playing the game. I've been in a bit of a rut with Lion, perhaps.

I've recently learned a bit more about the basics of the game (thanks, Ken!), and am practising using elbows, low jabs, throws and evades a bit more, rather than just dancing about the place and flying in with flashy, risky moves (which is pretty much my whole routine as a Lion scrub). Learning Jeffry might help me down that path, I think.

 

Shinobi, now that you've seen some offline Lei Fei's in action (me and Akmal) what do you think?

Yeah man, Akmal and you inspired me alot. I wish we had more casual play. I wish, I wasn't hung over from work, lol. I like your Lei Fei alot. Very chill and confusing(I'm stealing your setups, lol). But, Akmel......Jesus Christ, Lei Fei, I tell you, he made him look like GOD! He's buffering into stance's were SICK! I'm going to start ASAP With him. I (almost deliberately) haven't tried to learn anything too fancy - playing him rather than Lion means that I can't fall back on spamming my usual nonsense, and have to focus on the basics of the game. It's got me thinking differently about how I play, which has got to be a good thing.

Jeff, is the man! I always enjoy using him(No homo). Everything is just brutal. But anyway, I think I may end up with Sarah, due to the Joystick. I've been using Lei Fei alot on the PS3 Pad, and quite frankly, I feel stiff using him on the Joystick...Or it could be I'm a sucker for pretty ladies /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Actually, the Sarah thread on her style got me thinking about her again.....I'm so emo about this, LOL!
