VF5:R Location Test Report!

I'll stop here, cause pretty much it doesn't even matter what I say. I'm sitting here trying to be optimistic about the situation, but you and others are responding trying to make us look bad for being upset about key moves being missing and/or losing their properties.

Sarah players need to stop stop fronting and crying. So she can't standard punch out of FL big Deal. She has a new animation and can still/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif Mid /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif nonetheless which still leaves her at a adavantage on contact. Sarah to me was never meant to be a Bare-down character. She was always suited to Nitpicking just like jacky but without the strength (Note to everybody who bitch about her being weak when she connects CH after CH breaking you down after a while The damage being lost shows ain't nothing weak about that.)

So stop bitching if she can't block in FL she has a Leg up idiots. She can Backflips away from attacks. Stop being so offensive minded and mix your game plan up plain and simple.

Anyways now its time to see the other characters in action so i can see whats been balanced out. Hopefully some moves have different hitstun animations.


BTW i love that Stage El and Taka are fighting on. You can't Run starting the match off FTW!!!! The Coloseum now looks even better with one wall (Best of Both worlds.) like Soul Calibur 2.

Did the location test end this weekend? Was hoping for more info on the rest of the cast ; ; Maybe with everyone having downtime they can post up on forums/blogs what they witnessed now. Maybe a few more vids will surface too but it looks like it's suffering from SF4's 4th loke test syndrome with the vids lol.

I also wonder if Goh has lost his guaranteed down attack on some of his ground throws if Vanessa has lost some of her guaranteed down attack after some of her throws/takedown?

I just might have to play the whole character instead of half then.

I went to the location test yesterday, but nothing to report really other than a big improvement in the graphics department. Didn't have much time and didn't have the room to try anything new, nor did anyone really do anything new... but it's funny that there's so much move analysis going on in this thread already.

I'm definatly taking up Jean and Taka though depends on how jeane plays. From the limited fighting I could see I might not dig him. Hoping I"m wrong.

 

SMH at everybody who thinks Using Jean Will stop the "And i still keep gettin my ass whupped by him" syndrome.

 

This game needs to come out on PS360, at any cost!

 

The animation overall is much much smoother. Looks they tweaked everything so it's more pronounced. All the hit effects like knockdown, crumples etc feels more realistic, like there is more weight/gravity effect, in other words, characters don't feel as floaty. The stages overall seems more detailed, and have a more refined feel to it. Basically when you look at the transition from VF4 to Evo, it's the same sentiment.
