If Microsoft paid 50 million dollars to rockstar games, so they can make two extra episodic content for GTA4. I can imagine Microsoft paid SEGA a good sum of money to make that game online.

Oh well, if all well ends well, we'll see Version C of VF5 for PS3 next year. Chances are, it'll be with an online too.

But, quite honestly, i'm very disappointed with SEGA and Sony at the moment.. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

I guess i'll enjoy Tekken 5 Online for my PS3.

Ditto, but like I said we are in it to enjoy the games and seems they are in it for the money and they are starting to forget about the gamers.

I already read posts about people complaining about "cheap" characters such as Lei Fei, lol.

Should be interesting to see how this turns out.

I'm assuming they threw a good chunk of change at Sega for exclusive online.. Who cares if their console has a life span that's less than the vegetables in my fridge when they can buy out anything. We need a Walmart console for some propper competition.

I do think releasing an expensive branded joystick for PS3 does kind of make them more obligated to their userbase than just a developer releasing a game.

    VF5 for 360 Online
So it is finally officially confirmed, version C and expanded play modes to boot.

Its kinda funny seeing the same Sony fans who blasted me when VF4 got released on the PS2 blast me now because OMG AM2 FUCKING LIED TO US.

When VF4 released on the PS2 the fans used Yu Suzuki´s crap to defend the lack of anti aliasing and dissapointing graphics of the port.
After all Yu Suzuki had said that they had ported the game in less then 6 month and that was the reason it wasnt up to expectations graphically.
When I pointed out that Yu Suzuki was talking bollocks since he had anounced a PS2 port of the game 18 months prior I was blasted from here to kingdom come, because hey if AM2 said they ported it in less then 6 months surely that was the truth.
When I said yeah it makes sense for them to anounce the game and then do nothing with it for the anounced platform for over a year in a sarcastic tone I was blasted some more.

Now we have a similar situation with the online stuff for the 360 version, but now since the shoe is on the other foot I and AM2 get blasted again for LYING.

    Hahahahahahaha, funny stuff.

HOLY CRAP!!! WTF I jumped the bandwagon because I love playing VF. If they don't release an update for ps3, I think I'd lose all respect for sega. DAMN, online plus version C!!! They just split the fanbase because of 2 different versions on the market.

if sega is smart the should release a downloadble patch for the PS3 ver. or a new Edtion for retail. But i got a 360 anyways so its more of a plus for me

If a patch is released, then everyone is happy, right? Bigger fanbase, more VF love (even laggy love), more hardcore people willing to travel (1 out of every 100), and we'll all be playing Ver. C....

However, if there is no patch offered...Man, that will be brutal.

Positive thing is that there is likely to be a fair bit of pressure from users in Japan I guess?

If there's no PS3 patch then fuck this game and fuck Sega, I'll quit.

I didn't pay $1000 to be fucked in the ass for being a fan of the game 6 months down the line.

Why does this bother you? The market has spoken--the programmers were wrong (or at least, they were too focused on a niche that could not adequately support them). The market seems to be demanding online play and that is now what AM2 will deliver. Who says they don't listen to customer feedback??

To those who think the PS3 version will get a significant update...I wouldn't hold my breath. Version C, maybe, but I would be surprised if AM2 bothered to do online play on the PS3. Why? Simply too few of you/us out there. I hope they prove me wrong though, because releasing at least a Version C patch would be the right thing to do.

for those who waited patiently and painfully.....Pat youselves in the back! TODAY IS A GOOD DAY!!

and it was all worth the wait...

big gamble, glad it paid off. This has been the only time I wasnt an early adopter on VF related stuff, SOOOOOOO glad it turned out this way.

I dont care how laggy it is....like i said before this mode should be taken only as extra practice mode, cause playing seriously online is stupid.....

btw all new vf5 online posts should be placed here, the original thread, maybe move/delete other posts and delete new vf5 online threads..
