It could be possible. When Street Fighter EX & EX2 were ported to console they arranged/remixed the tracks to sound (mostly IMO) better than the original.

Alot of the music sounds like regular nintendo.

But, I'm not gonna lie when I say I like Jacky's new theme alot, and I enjoy Sarahs too but just the cut in part, haven't heard the whole thing from an actual battle yet(it could suck).

So I guess if we hear these songs alot, it won't bother us so much.

I actually like Jacky's new theme more than his others as well. Vanessa's is easily better than her 5 and R tracks to me, and so are Lion and Eileen's.

I'm undecided on Wolf's yet, whether I prefer it over his R theme. Taka's I don't mind either. I like it as much as his R theme. Akira, Pai and Lei Fei's fall into this category too.

Lau's is pretty bland, and his R theme is better. Haven't heard Goh's theme fully yet, but I still prefer his 5 theme over his R one.

Sarah's however, I really doubt it. It's going to have to be pretty amazing if it's going to top her R theme.

Yeah, Jacky's FS theme is his best VF5 theme I agree too.

I like Wolf's VF5 theme over R and FS so far.

Lei Fei's R theme is best so far still.

Sarah's R theme is one of the best VF themes to date, imo. I'm pretty sure that her FS theme is going to be better than her VF5 one, though, I didn't like that one at all.

Overall, I prefer VF5R's tracks to VF5.
I haven't heard much from FS, but the tracks I heard are BLEH!

I wasn't too fast to hate on FS music, but Brad's theme did it for me. I think it was the first time I *had* to turn off the sound, because I was starting to feel almost physically sick, and I wish I was exaggerating .

Seriously now, I like music, I have some basic music education even, I like jazz and I like rock, but that's NOT how you go about mixing those two genres. Constant clamor of drums paired with murdering guitars... and in the middle of it, everything stops and a sax just starts chilling, kinda aimlessly? Maybe they'll add a round of applause every couple beats too? It breaks the entire flow and simply doesn't work as a background to the fight anymore. There is time and place for everything.

Now THIS is how you link rock and jazz instruments for something suitable for a theme song:

Also, Akira theme... piano? I like it when AM2 is shying away from their tradition of "techno/guitar riffrape for EVERYONE" and are trying to mix it up a bit and add different instruments, but again - time and place, and it's supposed to be a THEME song... Yeah, nothing says "Akira Yuki" like a round of cheerful piano passages. That's the first thing that comes to mind.

VF5 is still the best, at least there was some real effort instead of "beat + guitar"... and it wasn't as mismatched like in FS.

I personally think that VF4 had the best music of the series. VF5 was okay on some songs. Shun's, being my favorite for VF5.

VF5R & VF5FS, to me, have both good and bad points.

My opinions on VF5FS:
I do have a personal like of Eileen's VF5FS theme song. It doesn't really suit her, but I just like the song. I like minor chords in Techno music, which is why I like this one.

Kage's is okay. Doesn't really stand out that well, but I see what they are going with this one.

I love what they did with Akira's theme. The pianos fit nicely. Could there have been more of the electric guitar? Yes, but all in all, it's great.

Brad's theme song is one of the most unique I have ever seen in a fighting game. The introduction just draws you in.

Jeffery's doesn't suit him. None of his theme songs in VF5 series suited him though. It suited the stage more.

I wish Hideki Okugawa made FS's soundtrack... 3s was a good example of fg music imo...

I didn't really like any of the tracks from VF3 or 4 myself. Aoi's VF3 track was not bad though. Overall I like R's music best in the VF series particularly Akira's, Dural's, Aoi's and Wolf's themes. The only other standout tracks for me are Kage's VF4Evo theme, Akira's VF2 one and Goh's VF5 track.

Don't much like FS's music but the stage redesigns are mostly really good especially Lei's, Goh's, Sarah's and Akira's.

Jeffrys VF2 theme is only theme worth remembering. (actually only one i remember at all. Shows how much I pay attention to game music.)
