Hello Florida, I just wanted to introduce myself. I used to be known as Soryuju on the SC.com forums and Ive been interested in picking up VF and finding some comp in it. Anyway, looking forward to playing some of you guys in the future.

Hi all, it has been a while! The biggest problem with organizing any kind of meet is establishing location. While most of us in Miami would gladly host it's almost impossible in the current state of things.

I'm kinda surprised to see so many tampa players. You guys should feel free to use this thread to discuss your own gatherings!

Im here in the Ybor area of Tampa, but I really havent seen a VF machine anywhere in town. I was hoping to go to some events here in FL, but I guess things have cooled off a little.

 

I'm running my large annual event this year again called VTYME.

I am running VF5, and there will be guarunteed money! I would love for the FL players to come out and compete!

The event is on Nov 17th, in Maryland!

Whats up guys, long time no see. Looks like VF5 Online brought me out of the woodwork...

If any of you guys play 2D games at all, and/or are willing to hit up the next Arcade Rennaisance tournament for VF5, I'll make it a point to bring it and host it. I played in the Tekken tourney last time around, but there wasn't much of a showing. we ended up doing round robin. Any chance you guys would be interested in bringing VF5 comp to the next event?

I know its not a quick drive from Miami where most of you guys are from, but I'm from Jax... Anyway, if there is any kind of interest here, let me know what it would take to get you out to central FL to compete in VF5, and I'll see what I can to to make it worth your while. Though this series isn't run by me, I try to support it as much as I can, and I'm hoping we'll see more interest in the game with the 360 version's release.

 

Sounds cool, man. Most of us down in Miami are still playing on PS3, but I kinda have access to a 360 and I'm trying to save up for one myself. I play a few other games myself if anything. Hydra eh? Very nice to see some of you old guys still low punching your way to victory! I've got time and will be gettin a xbox 360 VERY soon. For those of you with a brain you might be able to tell who this is =). I'm currently in Jacksonville so I'm north enough to visit carolinas and maybe even louisiana...but this online thing has me BUZZIN! Hope to get my beatknuckles off without input problems =P.
