Holy crap! I just noticed this revived thread and it's received like 8 pages in the last few days. Crazy! I wasn't going to chime in, and still don't really want to, but must in order to affirm some comments.

In terms of Rodney stating that he might have struck a nerve with Happy Friend in regard to Happy saying "be careful who you win against too much because they might not stick around" is the most ass-backward thing I've heard on here in a long time.

Rodney I'm glad you mentioned my name as one of the few that might agree that Happy was the pot calling the kettle black here, because I was the one to first point this out a few years ago and the backlash soared! To make it even crazier, Happy, did you forget that this has been mentioned about you several times? You must have, otherwise why would you say that you doubt we would agree with Rodney?

I don't want to dredge up past BS because the intent isn't to get backlashed again, mainly because this is old news, yet still a fact whether you agree with it or not.

Here's the bottom line: when "being careful about winning against someone too much in fear they might not stick around," this only applies to noobs and people that probably aren't that fun to play long sets with anyway.

So, shame on you Happy for being one of the few, if not the only one, to fall into this category, considering you are not a noob, and are definitely fun to play!

 

Some people just have a shorter fuse than others and online facilitates that because you don't really look . The shit-fits I've had while playing online are a lot worse than what I'd go to irl.

I think that you should work on your reading comprehension. It is true that I have not often stuck around to fight you and Rodney, but I am happy fighting the other three. That being the case, maybe there is another variable at work here, as hard as it may be for you and Rod to believe.

There is a player here that posts a lot and who I won against repeatedly - like almost 100 win %. Then he stopped fighting me. I msgd him and asked if I was doing anything in particular that was bothering him. He said no, but still wouldn't fight me. Ok, well boo-hoo or whatever. I still don't know to this day what made him angry. I could assume it was that he didn't like losing, but maybe it was something else.

In your case, Jhow, I have pretty much explained why I find the 4444 Shun spam so tedious. There is really nothing else to say about it. You think it is flashy and cool and I think it is retarded and irritating. Not much common ground here. You may think that I hate losing and I only fight players I always beat, but you can only base this on limited information. If I fight players who are better than you, that pretty much disproves your little theory, no?

And as I recall, the last few times we fought, you left anyway. Am I misremembering (it was a while ago)?
