SoCal VF5 in 2007 and beyond

Just so you know.... this one is on TONIGHT (Friday). Hope to see you and your friends there.

 

VF5 Madness has officially got underway as of last night. Big thanks to L_A_Akira[/size] for hosting EL_Brisal73, CaliPower, PhoenixDth, GoatCheeseBlues, Jack, Shou, YOSUKE [/size], Dennis, Jeremy, and myself.

This year's official phrase (coined by EL_Brisal73[/size] after winning a game against YOSUKE[/size] - then made official after YOUSKE[/size] said it back to him - or was it to someone else - regardless, hilarity ensued)...

"HEY! Next."

In order to keep all the players hydrated, the fridge was stocked with various liquid goodies. The official winner last night was the melon cream soda.

My question is, how the hell did you guys get your High Grade sticks so darn fast? I barely got mine today.... @_@

 

If I get dissed on what is supposed to go down for me tonight, I should be there... otherwise, I'm making the end of the month event for sure.

This just makes me hate the location of my school even more...

General SoCal update: YOSUKE[/size] is staying at my house till April 1st. If you are a SoCal VF regular or have met him previously and you are free during the day, Mon-Fri - he would like it if you spent some time with him. That could mean playing VF5 at my house or just going out and about.

For example: L_A_Akira[/size] is coming over Tuesday morning to take YOSUKE[/size] around Los Angeles to see things Japanese in the area. He and his wife will then bring him to meet Catherine, Glenn, and I at Frisco's at 6:30. We'll have dinner, go to AI afterwards, and YOSUKE[/size] will return with me to my house.

Feel free to PM if you want to do something like this. Two days advance notice is enough.

 

That looks like a nice gathering with great looking setups and the fridge. It seems like the place for VF. =)
