San Diego VF Party - A Farewell to PS3

When: Oct. 26th and Oct. 27th

Where: Sweep's Place || 4608 Georgia St. Apt. 2, San Diego, CA, 92116

Who is coming: SweepTheLeg, Solfizz, AY/AllWorld, Shiz, LA Akira, Unsafe Dan, Sebo, Plague, HowBoutSum, [your name here!]

You know the drill -- come on out to my new place in lovely SD and play as much VF as humanly possible. I should have two set ups available but these events are always better if some kind soul can bring an extra set up or two, an HD monitor, etc.

Other details: Those who want to come down on the 26th and play all night are more than welcome -- there is one couch available (not as comfortable as the LA/RS couches) and plenty of floor space for mats, sleeping bags, etc. I will provide beverages but you will be responsible for eatin' -- thankfully, there are several delicious options about 50 yards away from my place: El Zarape (awarded SD's best Mexican food for like 8 years in a row), an Indian food resaurant, sushi, coffee shops, etc.

Hopefully more LA/RS guys can make it down via carpool -- everyone is welcome. Whether there are 5 people or 15, it will be a great time. I hope to see you there.

Okay, I'm gonna shot this idea with my parents in a bit (plan to get a fare that goes to Oceanside, and drive from there).

Holy shit, they're cool with it.

I may need to take a plane down though. I'm not rolling in cash, but I saved up quite a bit and time will be an issue as I need to be back for Monday (swim practice at 7 a.m. , not missing it because I need to increase my legend!!!!)

A shame we didn't get to meet Tim. But LA Akira, Plague, and I all went to SD today and played Sebo/SweeptheLeg (I assume Paul might have come around when I left?).

GGs to all you guys, I learned a ton and upon LA Akira's request I'm picking up Kage. GGPO lmao jk

It was cool, I ended up playing a whole slew of characters for fun though I did get a bunch of matches with my girl Sarah /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I'll see if I can get some time for OC VF in real life or on LIVE hahaha.
