PSN Good Games

wow thats just awsome. A family of good VF players. cool stuff.

 

My other brother (KPDudgafan (wtf name?)) is doing pretty well in the UK/Europe bracket of the Circuit, too.

Still gotta get a hang of these mix-up characters and work on my spacing, strings are really killing me. Patience is pretty hard in this one...

BlackGeneral, your Akira has definitely gotten better since we last played. I think you should have won some of the matches but I got lucky.

Cometsu, your Pai was really tough for me. That self ringout sucks, I know, I did it myself in an earlier circuit. Trust me, you'll never do it again because you'll remember it in the future. You had me that game too but I got very lucky.

Vic Viper, you need to work on your positioning. A lot of times you left yourself with your back to the edge of the ring when you had the opponent on the ground. That is a good time to circle around them or jump over them. I think you could have won some of those rounds but you were ringed out because of your positioning. Keep up the work.

Akai, thanks for streaming.

Hope to play all you guys again when we've all gotten better.

 

Big thanks to everyone in Bracket 5 this week. That was such a close group - every win, loss, and draw made a difference.

Was nice to play and talk with you, Zekiel - it's rare I come across a Jacky who's as strong as I am. but you have a lot of skill, and there's actually a lot of similarity between our play-styles. I think you're more consistent with landing combos and hit-checking than I am, and I'm a little more aggressive than you are (read: abare-spamming baddie).

Exzety, you're always a thorn in my side. You have a really strong and unique way of playing Kage (I'm used to a lot of shenanigans from my brother), and you never miss a combo or screw up the timing for anything, and you force me to concentrate far too hard.

Radon, that pesky Lion! you played really well against Exzety and Zekiel, and they were some of my favourite matches this evening. you have a good nack for breaking through defences with a mix of lows and mids (which is probably why I managed to win - I never defend!).

Dagcon, was interesting to see some Akira stuff coming out this week. Got some good damage on those combos and throws - sorry to see you were having connection issues with certain people; hopefully it didn't ruin the fun of the night.

GGS Everyone I faced today.

 

Played bunch of games with kingo / KingofVF yesterday and... wow man. That was the worst beating I ever get since my 1st room matches with Bilal. Awesome Aoi... And to tell the true, 90 % of times I was not even able to know what the fuck is going on. I was just dying and dying and dying and dying...
Need to make something about it for sure

So Nubsteez was 001 huh? No wonder his Blaze was good. I thought it was just some random Blaze player online or something.

 

Played him a few times this morning. I'll upload a replay or two. I don't see why he'd be overly difficult for you to beat unless you go into retardabare mode too much.

 

lol yeah I thought I told you that in room, guess I didn't, he rarely plays on PSN, but it's always gg's when he does.

It seems like I have a harder time than most people against him. I'm not sure why - he just seems to read me at every turn, both to defend my attacks and to beat my defences.

 

GG's to genzen, exzety, valakrie, omnistalgic ( damn that lion ) and anyone else i fought yesterday. Yesterday's online actually had a good number of people playing. Which is good to see. Indeed genzen our style's are similar but different at the same time.

 

Pretty sure he mangles most people tbh. I'll throw you some hints vs him.

GGs to everyone that I have played in the past couple of days including Exzety, Omnistalgic, DigitalSamurai, Kingo (Wow, prob the best Aoi on PSN), Fugassami, Jinks (Fun games, we will definitely play again), M-F-B (Thanks for the constant rematches), Piccolo, Zekiel, and a few others that I may have forgotten (sorry).

 

So many good games, I don't know where to start. GGs to Valkerie, Brodiman, M-F-B, Rodney, Elite, Fugasami, Pana(don't sweep me bro), Unicorn, Edgemis, and to anyone else i've played in room or ranked. And to the people who level up in like 3 days (Valkerie, Brodiman), you NEED to tell me where the hyperbolic time chamber is... NOW.

 

Ranking up quickly can be done by seeking out people of your rank - you get far more exp for those fights than you do for the others. I think (not sure on this) that games with people in the same bracket as yours also give more too.
