Need help with the VF terminal, please...

Reading comprehension would do you a world of good. I was referring to him living in wales. (not nearly as multicultural a place as Canada or the united states, or even the uk) therefore the subject would be irrelevant to him. How jobs came into this I'll never know.

 

Actually, the reason why I didn't write one was because someone DID write up one. :X

But I'll see if I have enough time to do it sometime this week.

It would make things a lot faster if someone had pictures of the VF terminal screens though. The ones on VF.jp are okay but are kinda small. I can work with those though.

 

It isn't too hard to figure out once you know what's what. Even I was able to figure it out, and my Hiragana/Katakana comprehension is atrocious (don't even ask me about Kanji).

The first 4 items obviously require a card and a coin. You can only insert coins to get to these items once you have inserted your card and the Terminal has accepted it.

The first item in the left column, is costume editing.

The second item in the left column, is name editing. You can write using Hiragana, Katakana, or Romaji (it's on the bottom)

The third item in the left column, is PR editing (statement that appears under your name during the VS. screen). You can write using Hiragana, Katakana, or Romaji (again on the bottom)

The fourth item in the left column, is intro editing. If you've ever seen a VF.TV video on YouTube where they'll show the two characters fighting in some sort of intro movie (usually they'll do something silly). This is where you edit it.

The first item in the right column, is where you unlock costumes I'm assuming. I didn't play enough VF5R (mainly cause I was in shock over how many other games were in in the arcades in Japan) to unlock anything noticeably cool looking on my card, but my guess would be you would unlock here.

The rest is all VF.TV/VF.NET stuff. I never used it because well I don't subscribe to VF.NET nor was I there long enough to actually make use of the VF.TV stuff. Though if I study abroad in Japan, I hope that changes.

Hope this helps. It's not exactly a GUIDE where it outlines everything you have to do in each section, but I figure I'd help you with the major parts.

MAJOR EDIT: After running the terminal page through Bing translator, it says the second to last item on the right column, will back your data up. Then, if your card ever gets lost, go to the last item on the right column, and insert your replacement card, and you will get your data back (I THINK, if I'm reading it right).

 

Ok, the next question is, can i use the ver B card in ver C machine?
