thanks akai. See you there! Bring a ps2 so we don't get strapped in the end with too little ps2s. Not sure if Adam checked or not, but I will bring two rf adaptors as well so that in case we run into that problem. Anyone out there coming and has an rf adaptor, it's best that you bring it along with your ps2. Because you never know with hotel tv's.

akai, that's awesome. Yeah, we are planning on bringing two ps2's and two rf adaptors for the worse in case the tvs suck. The more tv's and ps2's, the better. Now if anyone out there can help each other out on the rooms, it would be even better. But the hydra room is full already. Sorry guys.

 

Vendui, I cant wait for the tourney, I'm gonna be there all three days if I can, and I will bring my PS2 with rf adapter, just incase. So the price to enter the tourney is 25 beans (figuratively speaking of course)? Man I hope there is a cool prize /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

It is a student hostel located in the city. They charge about $32 per person / per night. Of course, you may have to share bathrooms with other people in your room and floor. Also, I don't think there are TVs in the rooms (that we can have to ourselves), so no VF set-ups.

It might be a good option for some people who can't find roommates and don't want to pay more than $35 per night. There is also no curfew - so you can come and go as you please.

 

So um.. how many people are still looking for a place to stay?

 

I'm looking to book a room at a another hotel in the manhattan area if people are interested in sharing the room with me. We'll just take the subway to the holiday inn if anyone is interested. I'm going to be in NYC from thursday 11th to the next monday morning the 15th. So if people are interested please pm me as soon as you can or leave me a msg on irc.

Well, the "fee" is $25. The money collected will go towards paying for the Japanese Tetsujins' airfare. (Gulp! I hope enuff peeps attend so we can collect close to the whole amount! ;P)
