I just spoke with Kaz who just chatted with Kyasao. According to Kyasao, Minami and Heruru are okay with the dates.

Now all I am waiting for is for Kyasao to let us know how much air ticket prices will be.

I haven't heard from Canadians or most of the Cali peeps - what's the dilly?

I talked to most of the people here last week about your event, and sadly, seems most people won't be able to go. For my part, I've gotta deal with my Japan trip, as stated, and then a trip home.

For everyone else, almost every person in the LA group is a college student, so I think their funds are pretty limited, esp right before Christmas. It also seems that the dates overlap with some peoples Finals, and I know Andy has to grade the undergrads he teaches that weekend (in fact, Andy couldn't play at Evo because of school-based work commitments).

this takes a week

then sent back to us...this takes abt a week.

then we have to go for an interview

this takes abt another week

then they will tell us if we managed to convinced them we are there for fun, not be terrorists.

So all up, by the time we know 'i am sorry, ur application has been rejected'....it will be too late for us to cancel our flight...thus losing our $$$

Hey, for the D.C/MD/VA group - its gunna depend on our midterm situations (all of us) and job situations (Jun and Me). I want to say that at least 4-5 of us might be able to make it, but I can't say anything definitive at this point /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

CYC was famous for playing Aoi I thought, does he play Pai also, or did he change chars? I never saw him use Pai when we met him in Korea, so I'm just curious. I assume it's the same CYC. He's got a tape he MUST bring with him if it is...! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hmmm...I am pretty sure that Kaz told me that he is known for playing Pai. I will ask him again though.

CYC is also the world's Pinball champion. He won a HUGE pinball tourney in Chicago not too long ago!
