Had a nice game with Konjou Akira tonight, almost got him, should have fKG at the end there /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif "You better take me seriously!"

 

Dude I couldn't beat Konjou if my life depended on it! Right on if you almost got him. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

 

Konjou and I had a really good back-and-forth series when the game first came out (He won like 5-4, 6-4, something like that). Once I get this article I'm working on written, I'm hoping to throw down another session with the guy.

Maybe this weekend.

 

34 and still climbing. Good to know that there are other players out there in my age bracket. I often feel guilty for playing so competitively. Any ways good game to everyone. Im having a blast playing all of you except the eileen spammers. She is just to good. Maybe i should ditch akira and go full time eileen?

 

First I like to warn my fellow VF'ers. A guy going by the gamer tag DE357ROYER X gave bad feedback about me because I won. He came right back to my game and wouldnt fight. Kept calling me a cheater and said I was a Nig''. So beware. What up Rod? we still on for this weekend? Hope so, I think I need to rest my hands some. I havent played anything since Feb. I couldnt justify all that dough for a PS3. But anyways I dont work untill Monday. I had my but handed to me by Cisco'c Monkey girl. Cant seem to understand what shes doing???? Im getting better at seeing whats going on with other chars tho. Well maybe not that midget dude. But sore hands and all Ive been having a blast. Playing experienced player is so much more comfortable to me, because at least what they do makes sence. Playing on line reminds me alot of Evo's quest mode. Everyone has there pet peves, we have to figure a way how to beat what the opponent likes to do and create doubt. Thus opening up our game. Most players on XBL are just like the ones on the disk. I can tell when Im playing someone who understands the game. I can almost feel them watching my every move. Anyway Im back in the VF community again and Ill be here a while. BUT, it might be a while before Im up to speed. PEACE!

 

I saw that Massengill too. Dropped after the second round. Apparently he had a problem with me chasing him down with 66K while he was trying to set up Kage's range game. That was kinda funny, despite the bad feedback.

Him: I can't believe you'd button mash against a newbie, man. Go play DOA. They don't mind players using the same move over and over.

Me: I only repeat moves when the scrub I'm pounding lets me. Do something about yourself before you start talking about others.

Him: You admit you button mash against a newbie! I can't believe you! Seriously, go play DOA. This community doesn't appreciate your kind. Anyway, enjoy the bad feedback, enjoy the complaint.

Me: Oh bitch bitch bitch, whine whine whine, emo emo emo. Funny you should talk about the community because I've been an active VF player from the beginning. I'll tell you what we appreciate - grit. Players who are willing to learn the game and overcome situations they're weaksauce against, rather than just run away and make excuses at the first sign of a challenge.

Nothing from him after that.

 

lol, I think we all know who you're talking about /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif. I gave eileen a try myself for a couple of days. She's got ridiculous setups for damaging combos but most players online don't do them.

I've had some fun & challenging games against you Rod. I'm hoping to reach that competitive level as soon as possible.

Anyway, great games to Akira 316. Like I said, your execution is on point. Once you get the momentum and movement down, man, don't even want to know what you're Akira will turn out like.

Great games to Gl0ry. For someone who just got the game, you have a ton of knowledge. I like our Jacky mirrors and discussion cause even though we're both not quite there with him yet, I get a lot of ideas.

Great session with Slide. Your Sarah always tempts me into trying her. I love the flashy stuff, and your juggles are on point. Good stuff as always man.

Great game with Neobeast. Real nice guy, one of the few who talked. We should play some player matches so we don't have to fuss with Ranked. I'd like the practice against Goh.


Bad games to some scrub named Junisonth or something. I don't even remember. Scrubs like him arn't worth my time. Whatever. I think he pulled the cable on me one match too, like 7 times that one match. Learn how to play you Lei-Fei masher. (JK <3 Juno /possible homo).

 

OH! KrsJin, I thought your name looked familiar. I would have talked if I had put 2 and 2 together. I hope to get more matches in against you. I want to know more of what Jacky can do. Frankly, I thought I was going to get whooped once I saw you, since my execution isn't where it needs to be with Akira. I do have pretty decent yomi though, and I think that is why I won. GGs.

 

Hmm, I don't know what is up with Chunbelievable. Third or so match we got during ranked, I beat him the first two rounds or so, then he just stopped playing and let me win, so I practiced my throws on him. Then like 10 minutes later, we happened to get paired in ranked again, and he quit on me. Seems like a grade-A loser to me. I guess he got mad that I wasn't getting hit by his opening backward kick flip with pai and was blocking his low punch into low sweep? BAD GAMES!

 

I didn't talk. Might want to have a priest or something look at your headset. LOL

Agree about the player matches though. I just wish I knew in round 1 what I knew by round 3. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif We'll be having great games in the future, and personally Jacky is a matchup I need to work on (as you could see).

Didn't know you were on here Akira316, stop switching characters and focus on one! I swear I played you with my Kage 6 different times one night and you were a different character every time.

 

Good games to Konjou_Akira, very good Akira, the best player I've met for now (still didn't play Jerky or Denkai but I already played Denkai IRL ^^). I only managed to get one game in out of maybe 7 . Connection was Ok so the matchs were really enjoyable. I really need to work on anti Akira strats I always found it was a hard matchup for my Lion ^^. We don't have a lot of dedicated Akira players here. Hope to play you again soon.

Good games to glory as well, even if we didn't play yesterday, I've met you several times, nice Jacky, you have nice movement for someone who picked the game recently. Your Jacky is may be even too much flash. Online it's hard to punish fancy unsafe stuff but IRL you'll found a lot of players who will punish P+KK so be careful ^^.

Nice games to Optimus too, who's gonna be your main Aoi or Wolf or maybe you have other chars you're trying ^^?

 

I'm really not sure, after I had a few games with flash
the old love (sounds gay) for wolf came back /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif , I think it will depend on my mood, shun still awaits too /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif GG's btw I get hammered by lion's crazy mixups, that's why playing wolf will force my defense up /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

 

It all depends on how bad my hands, wrists, and forearms are hurting. Akira..Wolf..Vanessa..Jeff, sleep. I really just need some rest but VF has always been my "crack" ughh, so to speak. Im just sore because I havent played in 8 months. GG's tho. Somehow I kept getting matched up with you. Same thing with about 3 or 4 other guys. It's like Live will only allow me to fight certain pleople.

 

gg man. what's funny is, like i was saying is that my sarah only recently leveled up. Cause just only a day or 2 prior I was playing really fucking terrible and losing to everyone, getting my ass BEAT. And then when I went to Vanessa for 2 days and then moved back to Sarah, she became twice the character she used to be. hahaha.
