It's a step in the right direction, but I wish Sega would get their shit together. If I want to play a sonic game these days, I'll go back and play sonic 2 or sonic cd, not these recent titles.

i havent played a sonic game since Sonic 1/2 either. and i dont plan to. I dont think they can compete with mario. mario has alot more apeal to kids imo. they should start something new. or at least not spend so much on sonic.

its like the NHL trying to make hockey more popular than FOOTBALL/Baseball in the US.. not gonna happen

Sega is not a terrible company; they are just terrible publishers. The only way they are terrible developers is they have relied on Sonic far too much in the last decade+ and the results have been mediocre at best. Sega still puts out some quality games but they aren't the risk-takers they once were. Sega used to innovate; they pushed the envelope. Today, they publish their properties and only support Sonic in marketing. They have potential but their fall from grace might be too great. I hope, one day, they will bounce back.

I wonder if Sony or Microsoft could request Sega to release the game for Consoles, like how I assume Microsoft did for VF to be released with online play.

We can pretty much forget about SEGA doing the right thing at this point. No matter who asks..

I don't even drink alcohol. But if VF5FS gets announced. I may take a shot of something. Really doubt it though, but that's how excited i'd be.

Apparently it was two members of AM2 that convinced SEGA to port it to 360, i'll try and dig the article up.

I've seen a small number of people I've not played before, but there is always a trickle of new players.

    My words.
I bought VF5 as DLC even despite possessing VF5 as US and EU DVD since its release day.

It was my entree billet for Xbox360 and playing next-gen-consoles. This aint changed over the years.

Maybe we can ecourage, tease, force or wtf ever SEGA with this in releasing the mentioned "sequel".

    Re: VF5 On Demand.

Well, at least it`s on the DLC-list, and by this more or less "en vogue".

    Not significant, imo.
But I fought a few ppl with 0 fights at their list, so by this probably they maybe new DLC buyers.

Did s.o. mention, that SEGA/AM2 decreases the size of VF5 to just 3,4 GB from disc-installation-size 4,7 GB ?!?
So despite the save of disc-swapping, we save even some space at the harddisc... [IMG]

    By the way:
They should fix, means delete that nerve-riding-rock-song played at xbl-online-menue. I know they have a faible fpor 80thies rock, but this is still ... Putting the music at mute, will let me miss all the other great songs.

Another thing is the addition of some statistics, like the numnber of actual players online, in total etc.

All in all - we should be glad and grateful to have this great game ONLINE @ Xbox 360.

    In this sense:
    cYa @ XBL.

I'm quite partial to that music actually :p Me personally I'm not going to download the game simply because I have it on my HD and that's where it's staying. I have noticed the number of online players has increased slightly.

But It's like I've said a thousand times if you cant do a simple button press and bring a huge Hadoken that takes 80% of your opponents health then the kids just don't wanna know. All they want is a simple fighter with about as much depth as a cup of tea. Tell them they have to actually learn combo's and strategy's and they run for the hills.

IMO, if they released VF 1-4 it would do better than 5C.
