January 15, 2025 - The version of the game used for this tournament will be VF5R.E.V.O. 1.00. This is equivalent to VF5US 2.01. Both VF5REVO 1.00 and VF5US 2.01 will be publicly available on January 28, 2025.

January 8, 2025 - The pre-launch Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. tournament at Frosty Faustings has increased its prize pool and tournament cap! Previously, the cap was 128 players, but that was reach a while back, leading to a brief waiting list for those wishing to participate in the free to enter tournament. The cap is now at 256 players and the prize pool has increased from $1000 to $2000. If interested in participating at event (Illinois, USA), the deadline to sign up is January 13.
