I just don't find any other fighter to be fun. SuperIV bores the hell out of me and I just don't like the game at all. I don't care about MvC3. I really am looking forward to AH3 and KOFXIII but FS is at the top of the list. It is the only game that I want to learn and get better at. Which on this site, of course, is the one that matters to most.

What is there to think these days? Play VF5. Play the games you enjoy.

Pray for FS.

Yeah I saw a MvC3 Banner in Uptown Manhattan the other day...and I laughed..I was thinking those same words "Talk about Marketing"

The sad part is that there probably wasn't or isn't a VF5:FS banner in Tokyo anywhere...Poor Sega...with all their knowledge that they have when it comes to making Video Games...it's seems they all forgot to take a class on "MARKETING 101"...Hahaha

 

I remember back in the early 90's, Sega had the best ad's. I wonder what happened.

 

Maybe Sega's marketing scheme is to get us to die of thirst for the next VF, and then outta nowhere they come on the scene like a savior with an xbl/psn version of FS. Then we don't hear from them again for another few years...

Nah but seriously though, AH3 and KOFXIII are looking dope... Both Evo worthy... MvC3 is kind of a by default game to get on... I hope they bring back Bulletta and Juggernaut...

Sega might not have banners all over Tokyo for VF5FS, but they've got a JP YouTube channel with tons of VF5FS vids, and D.K. is keeping them updated with a blog site... That's kinda all they need... We on the other hand..............

 

Have VFDC and a good selection of VF games but very few players.

Once you taste VF you can't drink anything else and it sucks because we don't get any VF from sega

 

Yeah I do find that kind of odd. VF has a hub with accurate game data and a fairly robust community, ok, yeah robust. I don't see why they don't at least entertain the idea. Now would have been a good time to say something about it.

I'm still cool with what we have now. If you find you can't play anything besides VF, well, keep playing VF.

With Spiderman I now have my team. Capcom had me worried for a minute. I figured he would be the first character they would show. I'm gonna have fun with it until tier list comes (and it will) out and I have to start being serious.

Lame Wolverine ripoff. I did not read any of her shit. I stopped reading comics when Magneto extracted Wolverine's admantium and then it was revealed he had boneclaws. That has got to be the gayest shit I had ever seen in 15 years of reading comics. The new writers were total assholes. Then I had some hope when Chris Claremont came back to Xmen last year ( for the second time) but he kills Wolverine in his second issue. Bullshit.

Calm down Tex. VF5 FS is as good as ours. Just be paitient. It looks like Sega is dragging their feet, yeah, but from the outset La said Final Showdown might be a March 2011 release. That's good , they'll have time to input some decent modes (maybe even Tag Battle ), and give us time to submit Quest mode AI names and PR comments.

X-23 is actually one of the better characters to come out of wolverine. Daken or "Dark Wolverine" is a fucking joke.

 

I disagree...What makes her Lame?? Is it because of the fact that she has all of Wolverine's abilities?? She was cloned from him but I don't think that writes her off as a Lame rip off..LMAO...

Lmao..damn...you obviously don't like her...maybe you will change your mind when you actually see her play style in MvC3.

You should also check out her story in comics...you might actually see that she is a great character...she has an awesome story line based on how and why she was created...I kept up with her for a little bit, but it got boring mostly because the writers couldn't really figure out what to do with her...which was also the problem with Wolverine all these years...on the one hand, they wanted to kill him off because it's not much they could do with his story..but on the other he was so popular...

I have always been a Wolverine fan which is why I am fan of X-23. They are so similar, I would think that it would be hard to like one without liking the other one...

Never give up Hope...I agree that Final Showdown is more or less a dead deal..but that doesn't mean there won't be a VF6...I think there will be...however I don't think it will come for at least another 3 or 4 years...which is a bummer....
