Just checked my exam dates, unfortunately i got 3 exams the week after this event starting from mon /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif.

So its a no go for me /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Well i'm complaining for a good reason, how do you expect to get the best out of people if the input for the controls dont work well. I guess it's a good thing that it is on free play.

To be quite honest people can complain because you know f*cking what THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO!.
They have a right to complain about air conditioning and etc.
I don't give a damn nobody plays properly when conditions are poor.

Im starting to get used to using different sticks. At WU I didn't have a problem with any of the sticks I tried even Optimus's DC one /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif. The aracade cabinet sticks though are so tight and unresponsive it really causes problems and if there getting worse something needs to be done.

So far I think Im the onlly one that's actually spoken to the technican and Damsko. The impression I got is that if enough people were unhappy with the sticks they could be changed, so speak up next time, there is a point to complaining.

 

heh the sticks etc are fine well gee ho can agree that the p2 stick was locking out on friday....

the only complaint i have is the aircon has been switched to "hot",not good if you are spending 10 hours there.
oh yeah and the standard loud music flashing lights complaint gets carried over, but its just general.

 

so unfair cant make it for the tourney, gotta work, don't suppose i couldcome at 6pm on sunday and still qualify. Doubt it though.

 

To gee_ho: Whether you can play your matches on Sunday depends on what time we start the tournament on Sunday. You may be in luck as I think we are in the process of changing the starting time to a bit later to make it comfortable for everyone to get there for the tournament on time and in shape.

Cant have it too early, otherwise people will be turning up in their pyjamas and stuff. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi all, I need to know your opinions people, please help.

Question1: Basically I have been told that to have the machine on free play I have to pay a certain amount each hour so if we get like 30 people altogether for the tournament, how many hours do you think it will take?

Question 2: I think that 12pm maybe too early for some people to be there, should I make the starting time later? If so what time do you all suggest? Remember, we all want to have time for regular challenges afterwards too!

I am setting the entrance fee to £2 per day, per person as this is a 2-day event and I need to make sure I have enough to pay for the time that the machine is on free play.

Troc is not free or cheap!

My two cents:

1.I estimate 6 Hours Max for the tourni, allowing for slow start etc? (not sure on the fromat so ruff guess /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif )

2. 2p.m sounds about right (Was like that for the Gamefocus events and people seemed to turn up on time)

Compliants aside I really only have one request, that they turn the heating down! /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

(G-ho , come anyway for challenges as well /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif )
