I'd be interested in driving down to UMASS one of these weekends to play some vf with you guys. Are there any interests in this? Say we drive down mid afternoon, play some, eat and leave on a Sunday.

 

I'm normally not here on Sundays, maybe this weekend. We usually play Thursday nights at the campus. When are you thinking about coming?

before u make that decision shang.... 1st find out how many people actually plays the game there...if theres more of us in boston....y should u make the trip to only play 2 or 3 people that actually "plays" this game...and these two you already met n played in boston, Dobi n Kenny....as u know they suck ass and still get owned by a noob like me...haha

hello, I'm new to the boston area, I don't play very seriously but I have been fiddling around with this lion character, I read that one of you thinks he's good but I was sceptical at first. After a few hours of gameplay, I'm pretty sure I can kick the ass of anyone who would want to bring it on (and I am oh so serious about it). I hear this jerky person is pretty good but I have no doubt I can take you, how would anyone feel about getting together today or in the near future for some VF?

Sorry I didn't follow up earlier guys, I'm used to forums that email you when people post. Guess I'm just lazy haha.
Anyways this tournament has been officially announced now and we've added 2D games to the mix if any of you guys play those games too. I'll announce it on this forum very soon. It's already announced on 4 other forums. I have to get someone to run the VF tournament first before I confirm it here. I'll Probably get Pushku(Dobi?) to do it. I didn't know his lame ass was on this forum.

i'm kenny, i'm ironzen on other game forums as well as my AIM.
i suck at VF and get my assed kicked, but I still own all anyways.

i think i should have free entrance to all games at the MIT tourney since i'm doing the flyers/artwork. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

and i hope tekken turns out ok. the last time i went to MIT (long ago), it wasn't pleasant...for them. now that I suck at that game, people better beat me. seriously...if i win, i'll be surely disappointed hahaha.

to the MA people on that list, and any others. spring break is next week, so i'm down to play. i should say learn rather.....ikuze!

First of all, Dobi is a very cool name. Even tho it sounds like a poop name, its cool.
Yeah another reason is that I did sign up for Pushku, but unfortunately I forgot the password and I cant get it back. So.. blah.

Yo I will definitely be at club this week cause i quit my second job(that's why i wasn't there last week i was workin). and snapz is gonna hopefully work on the art and of course he can get in for free /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif because I always love his work.
now I'm just hoping that somebody can run the VF tournament for me and take that responsibility to ensure the tournament happens. I'm going to run Tekken4 and find a volunteers to run each of the other tourneys so that I just have to oversee them and not run all the brackets.

Just want to clear some confusion, is this tourney at MIT? or UMASS? and what are the (tentative or not) dates? I'd like to spread interest to buddies across and see if there is any interest. Will there be cash prizes or any types of prizes for that matter? Thanks.

The MIT Electronic Gaming Club sponsoring a comeback tournament. MIT EGC is partly responsible for the creation of the UMass EGC and is the original host of the Best of Massachusetts series(last one was number 9 hosted @ Umass).

I really need some volunteers to help with extra consoles,tvs,games so if anyone can help out please let me know. I also might need some volunteers to help run brackets. Even though I’ve run a bunch of these I’ve never bothered to learn how to do that well cause somebody else always does it LOL.
I hope everyone can make it even if you say you don’t play anymore(who really does?) please come out just for the ownage and to have a good time. We are hoping to have some food/drinks this time(no promises I’ll try). NY,NJ,RI,CT,PA hopefully you guys can make it out for this one too. If VA and Atl make it I’m not gonna complain either
