I'm still waiting for a reply from a friend of mine about his van. Hopefully he's okay with it.

If I can't get the van, I may also take the bus. Is anyone willing to pick me/us up in Boston Chinatown?

 

I might be taking a bus from NYC too, anyone have information on the bus from Port Authority vs the Chinatown bus or whatever?

* = People I will make hotel arrangements for. For the people who has a * and have decided NOT to come please let me know so I can cancel your reservation. For the people who do not have a * and will be needing housing please let me know asap so we can arrange for you. The hotel cost will be around 20 to 25$ per person per night, the sooner we know the cheaper it will be.

Time/transportation: The cheapest way from NYC to Boston is to use the Chinese bus leaving from Chinatown NY to Chinatown Boston. They are 10$ per trip, traveling time = 3.5 to 4.0 hours depending when you leave. The bus leaves every hour from NYC. Chances are when you arrive in Boston Chinatown we’ll be able to arrange something for you to get to the hotel. If you are driving then it won’t be an issue.
Arrival time: Jerky, Hyun and I all work until 5pm on Fridays, sadly that means we won’t be able to meet until 6pm. If anyone has issues with this timing please let us know. Direction to the hotel will be post shortly.

One small question , if we arrive before or after the tournament where should we go to? Whose house or what place is the meet spot?

We'll have to discuss that.

However, my place is indeed open for massive amounts of Retro and todays hit VF. I should have a projection unit available for all play plus a secondary unit for whatever.

I'll make a legitimate thread on this in a bit.

5. We will play through all seven of the tournaments up until the finals. We will likely showcase every finals series at the very end of the competition, EVO style. Rephrasing that--last two standing for every game, play at the very end.

6. Marvel has been upgraded to $10.00. Probably will leave GGXX and CvS2 as is.

Will definitely do the APEX for the Tekken tournaments like I did last time but I dunno what Chief wants to do for SRK I'll ask him about that.
Most all tournament matches will be recorded and with some of the fee will will use to make Battle Royale DVDs but I will update more later on these things.

This place has hourly shuttles from/to Logan, so if you are flying in, you can get picked up for free. It’s about 3 miles to boston. Accessible by the Red Line Subway (stop JFK), which will be able to take everyone to MIT (Red Line stop Kendall/MIT). When you are checking, just mention my name (Shang Yang). Check in time is 3pm. Price per night is 22$ per night per person (tax/fee inclusive); 88.83$ for 1 room for 4 people. I have reserved for the following people:
