Best way to make Sega release vf5r.

SONY is looking to do something like how they have the 'PS1 Classics' section up on the PSN. It would be a place where you could download ports of DC games that run off of your PS3's drive. If Sega made old DC games like they did Virtual On for the 360 with online mode or REZ giving it an HD retouching then it would be great. But from what I've heard SONY just wants to put the best DC games up for download on the PSN (before MS's XBL service can claim them as well).

 

No offense , but you don't know shit. Thats the problem with the net, people misrepresenting speculation and rumors as fact. None of the DC games Sony wants have been mentioned. So that bit about "Sony doesn't want Virtua Fighter 3 TB " was total bullshit. No offense.

The thing is, only you know that you know (or don't know). No one else can know for sure. I'm inclined to believe you actually know, well, just because I feel like it. The thing is, there's no proof. So why bother talking about it?

Also, "my friends... tell me things casually" = likely violation of some kind of NDA. Why would your friends risk their jobs? You apparently post secret information without much consideration. That's a little fucked up.

Please don't compare yourself to Reno. You haven't done the ground work. Reno established his credibility. You can establish your own by backing your statements with believable links. It's worth the work. You could be bringing real news to VFDC - maybe before anyone else does.

I have an idea.

We all put our money together and buy Sega.

I'll start by putting in £6.87

 

hmmm... It's actually a good idea. Here is a practical way that we should do. Buy at least %20 of sega's stock so we have a chair in the management board under VFDC community. And divide this share between us. We get to discuss the future of all sega's titles here (not just VF) and then we decide on a representative (preferable me ;p) to be part of sega's decision making.

 

How about instead of us buying it, Namco buys it, they care about their fans y'know.

there is no best way to release it unless the vf5 franchise gets huge promotions through the WCG. and gains tons of noterioty. another way is hope segas arcade market with vf5r tanks.. that might make them desperate enough to port it to consoles. hell of alot cheaper than making arcades.

In a way, sega is sort of screwing over its japanese fanbase by RENTING arcades instead of selling them
