Lol, its funny to be referred to as a "new player", even though i am relatively speaking. I've only played VF since VF4Evo back in like 2003 or 2004 with my friend. We were both new at the game so it was basically a giant n00b fest for a while, until we stopped playing. Then in 2007 or so I spotted VF5 Online and started playing.

 

It sounds like that when you here him speak through the mic but I don't think he is complaining just speaking his mind I don't see anything wrong with that. I see it as a way to remind me of what i do when I go into autopilot and just spam stuff out without thinking and lose track of what I do. I then use the input he tells says to focus on making more sensible choices and mixing things up better. I see it all as positive reinforcement overall.

If you are gonna quote something do it right or more importantly at least quote the most important part which was that I was pissed off at you bad mouthing others. No, last year we had Cliff Lee, an over the hill Pedro Martinez, and Cole Hamels who was having a really bad year. This year all 3 of our starters are golden (see perfect game, no hitter, full game shutouts etc.) Our lineup is the same except for Placido Polanco, which is still clutch. Also, Chase Utley tied Jackie Robinson's record for HRs in a world series last year. Not bad I'd say.

This year . . . best record in baseball, something like 52-20 down the stretch, 12-1 record of 3 aces in september.

Bad games to myself.

I'm just not doing the things I used to do (like going in the Dojo to practice movement) that got me to where i'm at today. Somewhere real early along the line I just settled with what i've learned. I used to go into the Dojo, put the command display on, start stepping and doing all his (Akira) moves while trying not to let the frame counter thing go past 4. Now i'm just sloppy wit it. I stopped doing that a very very long time ago, but doing that helped me get to where I was/am.

I can't step at all like I used to. I have an extremely hard time evading up for some reason, so when I try to dash foward/back then up I keep getting popped and it just makes me look even worst than I do already (self pity ftw) cause my evade attempt doesn't come out and I just run into stuff more than usual.

Movement is important to me personally when using Akira cause it helps me stay loose to be able to do Akira's moves quicker and move around the ring. And that's just how I like to play him.

I still haven't figured out this advance+fuzzy at the same time technique thing quite yet. Sometimes I can do it but most of the time I just can't get the timing down.

 

BGs to me. haven't so much as turned it on in over.... 1 month? 2 months? maybe longer?

 

Hey smb, I will be online up until the end of this month if you want to get some lagtastic action going. But I do hope that you play some Quest or Dojo from time to time to keep your skills sharp

What is XBL VF5 etiquette? I was spanked 0-10, and then received negative Rep on XBL for "sportsmanship". I do not play with a mic, so no trash talk was exchanged and I always take my losses gracefully (just ask Plague).

BAD games to myself. I apologize to Kingo, Settra, SDS, and many others who choose to join my games and found me playing so poorly. I have lots of excuses, but the truth is that Im playing like a noob and dont undertand why I win some and lose others.

Alright, hate to post here about any one person in particular since I'm above all who belong here. Most of the members here are above all the players who get put here for shitty attitude and/or behavior.
Truth is I have fun with well over 90% of people I play online...

But there's always that small percentage of douchebags out there that dwell in negativity and love to pull bitch moves. Acting hard online like you've seen battle, like you've spilled another man's blood. Please. Get over yourself. You're playing a VIDEO GAME, ONLINE. Yes, it's about fighting but that doesn't make you a fighter or even close to "hard".

I'm not hard. I'm just a regular average dude who likes VF. I may have done and seen a few more things than most average VF players but ultimately, I'm just a dude online who enjoys VF and guess what? So are you.
There are times to be hard (not act it) but online and/or through a fucking video game... come on thug-boat.
