Anger Management thread.

*insert 8th-10th dan + most hunters here as well, please

 

Ended breaking the ring around one of the buttons by hitting with my fist, from being pissed off losing like 20 matches in a row. Saved some of the replays, looked over them and realised if I want to get good, I gotta improve on my weaknesses from what I saw.

I still get pissed when I lose, but I now that I realize why I lost, I'm having more fun working on my flaws and really getting into the nitty-gritty of the game.

Still losing to people better than me...for now.

 

Seen some defenders with this problem myself. Usually Akira players.

 

In short, I know what I want to do, nothing comes out right resulting in me being extremely salty. Pai and Kage players don't help much either!

When I lose to a spammer I think "Man, you could have won this"

When I lose to lag I think "From now on, only 3 bars - From now on, only 3 bars.."

And is it just me or are the dan's usually better then hunters, raiders, etc?

 

I've noticed this as well. I think it's just you're lucky enough to run into a Dan who is working his way up to his "real" rank. Also, the overwhelmingly large majority of Hunters are only Hunters because they have played enough games to get that far.

If you were able to lose rank before Hunter, I'm sure many of them would be low Dans, even a few Kyus...

 

Yeah I guess that's it. I'm casually challenging Hunters and above to rank up faster and get extra cautious before fighting dans
