360 vs PS3

i got another 360 last week and so far i still prefer my PS3, but im enjoying vf5 online (was beaten last by a few VFDC'ers good times lol) but imo it come down to this:

if you can wait for VF5FS (which has NOT even been talked about for console) on PS3 then the single player/one per console games are better on ps3 (U2, KZ2, Heavy rain, GOW3 etc).

if not get a 360 VF5 the FPS games are cool (unless you have a gaming pc, in that case get a 360 arcade just for VF!)

 

Look bro , If you take the Micro$oft fanboy stick out of your ass , you would know I meant having VF5 FT work online on peer to peer for PS3 would be ideal because it would be low cost. Nobody is poking holes in your precious XBL service you pay $50 a month for but provides no web browser. So don't be a cunt. Obviously XBL is ideal for Sega for the same reason: Microsoft covers all the online server costs.

My point was the main caveat Sega would have with maintaining Playstation VF5 online would be the cost, especially if the active user base dwindled to the small number VF5 online has. Having it peer to peer would allow it to run indefinitely, with or without Sega. VF5 online IS behind Microsoft's XBL servers, that's a FACT. Meaning Microsoft can remove VF5 from XBL servers anytime they want, especially when there's only five people playing online a day.

 

VF5 on 360 IS peer to peer, the live servers are just there for matchmaking.

That being said: Dont ever speak about this subject ever again.

Ideal would be if it would WORK. Having played this year tekken on PSN I can say its far from ideal.

 

I say theres better exclusives on 360 pluss a much better online service!! Then you hear some little sony fanboy say "ohhh but our online service is free" lol yes its free but i would rather have a service you pay for each year if its gonna keep it better! you pay for what you get a free online service means it sucks compared Microsofts 360 service! Ohh and if i wanted a blueray player i would go out and buy one this is just sonys way of bundling gamers shit they are not actually wanting. At least the 360 gives you the option as an add-on if you want it or not!

 

Look dude If you take the Sony Fanboy stick out your ass you realized that at this point we really don't care what system get a VF release online or not. Your the fucking cunt with your bullshit tech Talk in which you know obviously nothing about.

So please for the sake of VF5.. Go to the dojo and stay there until VF5:FS comes out. Worry about getting your skills and fundamentals right in the current version before worrying about anything else.

 

I don't like the micro transacting that goes on in Live. On top of the service if I want anything premium I have to pay for it. Some newer movies cost a lot more than I would pay at retail. Might as well download the torrent. Then again; I don't have to use it either.

However, live is a lot better than PSN. I'm willing to shell out 50 bucks a year for something that is constantly improving and being maintained accordingly.

Because the differences between PS3 VF5 and 360 VF5 are more pronounced than possibly any other fighter that has come out on this generation's consoles. PS3 VF5 is version B, has really incompetent Quest A.I., and no online modes. 360 VF5 is version C with balance changes, far superior Quest A.I., and of course it has XBL multi-player support.

Actually both PS3 and the XBox 360 are sticking it to their fanbase. Microsoft totally cuts off support for its previous gen games. Which pissed a lot of Xbox loyalists off. Sony removes options from the PS3 using forced(for all intentional purposes) firmware upgrades. Which pissed a lot of PS3 loyalists off. Both Microsoft and Sony are finding ways to nickle and dime their fans. Content that should be free or should come with the initial game, is more and more coming as DLC at a cost. Both have shortened the single player game down to just a few hours. Both have encouraged software makers to remove the two player feature from many of the titles, to force users to play online. Neither one is doing all that they should do with the lobbys. Neither one is doing all that they could do to have the best server architecture available.


On the real, PS3,and 360 could both use substantial customer service improvment, as well as improvement in lots of other areas. Fanboys on either side should point their criticisms at their favorite platform.

1200 dollar for maps? Get the fuck outta here. If MW@ they get away with it everybody else can.

Case in point i brought the Snowblind mappack for gears 2 for 800. then i brought the add-on chapter and additional dark corners mappack for 1200.I never brought the combustable cause it was kinda corney to me. Microsoft Dicks me by making all 3 maps pack available for 200 points cheaper than the trio. Now i can't play multiplayer matchmaking because they turn off the servers that allow you to choose what pack you want to play on. If you don't have all you cannot play matchmaking with purchased maps unless you have all 3 sets.

Mind you Dark corner has about 8 new maps in itself.
I could kill cliffy b right now.
