From the updated website, there are at least 10 stage variation (VF5 had only 3) - Open (16x16) - Shun's River, Taka's Sumo Ring Low Fence...
I think I tried it on a crouching opponent, did not cause stagger. Do you mean, crouch guard stagger (not at home to mess around with the move)?
