Somehow, leaving the game for 3 weeks (due to a move) improved my Aoi a lot. Pretty sure my Lion got worse.
Something to keep in mind: If you're playing on a TV with more input lag than your opponent's, your at a disadvantage online.

I played VF2 for a little while today. I still suck at that game.
Not to burst anyone's bubble, but Sega only announces new numbered VF games when they release new arcade hardware. Not quite there yet...
Lots of ways to become good at VF. Some people play by hitting all the right notes; others play it like jazz. The best players can do both.
I think I'm going to watch the VF anime again, because why not? Pretty sure it's the 3rd time in 10 years...
