It doesn't always give me the comment box!!!!!!

ONLY if said person has enabled member comments in their status. This is why we were talking about that that setting should default to "members" rather than "friends" earlier. There are still a large number of people that dont realize that they havent enabled comments on their status.

I had thought the setting only applied to people posting on your profile page (i.e.with a new post), and not replying to an existing one. The fact that I could reply to @Chief_Flash led me to believe he had this feature enabled, but that doesn't appear to be the case and I think I was allowed to comment on his due to my admin status.

yeah just rub in the fact that you for some unfantomably leet reason have admin-status myke :p

now i guess the only thing we need is that admin "opt in" toggle in the settings. expect it to appear any day now right? ^^
