Playing the CPU is a good way to practice your punishment.

agreed with Lib, put Arcade Mode on hardest and get your punishes down on the repetitive spam the cpu uses against you. For movement it's good to use a character like jean with a good 33P attack and dash ins are required from some launches with him.. Tap up or down and then his 33P attack quickly to cancel the evade into that string, for very basic movement practice.
