Pai- has a new , with a double hand hit on the 3rd
Brad- doesnt seem like a new move, maybe a rising upper out of sway?
Lau- looks like he gained a sabaki or its his old elbow high palm
Jeffry- maybe a new throw animation for
El Blaze- hop kick and running stuff thingy

 

That's not bad,we need some good footage of VF5 in action,the last time they had one,couldn't see anything.

How do you know that? No playtest reports said that... Might be a single hand hit with distinct animation.

Shou said it IS a new animation for elbow-palm. The last screen doesn't look like a slam though, contrary to the playtest reports. He probably lied, that bastard!

It's nice that the new models seem to be able to look ugly sometimes in an almost human way, and not solely as "flawed" 3D-models(or whatever word would be appropriate)...they sure look oiled, btw XD

 

Sega has added new hit reactions to the characters so they could act more naturally than before.Does this mean that the fighters can form bruises during the matches?

I noticed the Virtua Fighter 5 pic of El Blaze kicking Wolf in his chest and the light that forms on Wolf's chest.Is that the onlyeffect AM2 place in when a fighter recieves damage?


I haven't seen Dural in the VF5 movie nor have I seen her in any of the pics, did they take her out of the game?

I heard about this new move that Sega has place into VF5 which has the player slide to the side of his or her opponent and get into a position to attack that opponent from the side.Since this move is identical to Lion's Shazenho (++), then why is it so important?That move can definitely be deflected.

btw, I love how your able to see the thread count on Akira's pants and how AM2 added more detail to the stages
and the gold "K.O" letters are a nice touch.

impressions from the pic : Lau is looks cooler, Jeffery's model is WAAAAAAY BETTER (here's hoping for a return of the infamous beach pic) and the new stages look pretty well revamped . I cant wait till his hits stateside.

Like how Akira does his in the beginning of the VF5 trailer.It looks more smoother than when he did it in evo.I hated the dojo in VF4, I'm glad they changed it to the temple.

 

What! The dojo is one of the best stages in evo. And how do you know they changed it for the temple level? I like the new stages so far, especially the ones with spectaters in them. I hope they redo the palace stage, with non-crappy music this time, and I'd like to see what kind of water effects they could pull off now.

 

I think the dojo in vf3 was the best, great scenery -- they should of kept it with half of the stage with walls in 4.

 

The improved Steel Cage Arena looks awesome.It looks more larger than it already is.That kind of scenery adds excitement to the whole fight.
