So I'm thinking the replays are very minimal details on the stage, character selection/costume, and then a list of player inputs which the game just reads and replicates when you play the replay.

So the replays are very small and I haven't confirmed where they are stored but I think it might be in %APPDATA%\SEGA\VFREVO\Steam\<user-id>\system\data.sys which I believe is the general save file for the game.

I've confirmed that Steam Cloud sync saves your downloaded replays, so any other device you log into and get your cloud save from will contain your replays. I was able to save replays on my PC, then boot up my asus rog ally x and replay them on that.

Mad cool stuff.

This feature is a must everywhere since now. So awesome and perfect.

Better more than less

Just checked it out and this is absolutely incredible!

The replays being saved automatically and being able to download/favorite them was already great. But all of this extra stuff is just absolutely fantastic. This is going to he great for learning how to defend against tricky set ups, strings, flow charts, etc..

And with crossplay coming soon, too. This is very good for the game and the community.

Actually, whenever you build a new fighting game you should start from this feature. this feature and done that way.

The idea and the realization is perfect, literally.
