VF5 + 1080p = Radom display reset.

Setup:
VF5 on PS3 over HDMI on Sharp LC-42D92U at 1080P
Isuue:
Game would randomly reset to 720P mode. Now when this happens the display would go blank, come back on on 720P mode in the middle of a match. This doesn't happen everytime but it has happened more than a couple of times, and since there's no way to manually changed the resolution in game, I know this is isn't user error. I would recommend if you are planning to use PS3 VF5 for tournament or serious matches, do not set it to 1080P mode.

 

even if you unchecked the 720p 1080i options on your ps3?

 

Shang, quick question. I set it to 1080p on the PS3's menu; that's all I need to do, right? I couldn't find any menu to change the resolution in VF5's main menu. Is this also possible? Thanks in advance...
