VF4 Ranking System Guide & Translation Updated

    The excellent <a target="_blank" href=http://virtuafighter.com/view.php?section=vf4&file=vf4_ranking_faq.html>VF4 Ranking System Guide & Translation</a> by mao2 has been updated. This update includes the official US Ranking Names and a listing of Items unlocked as you're promoted through the ranks. Check it out.

    minor quibble, shouldn't it have the japanese ranks as well, even tho it's mostly gonna be read by PS2 junkies?

    Also, the "Ten consecutive tenth dans" and similar phrases should be edited to clarify that you don't have to luck out and face ten tenth dan opponents in a row, only that when you DO face one, you must beat him (and do that reliably until you have ten notches under your belt).

    The Japanese ranks are still there. If you meant the unofficial English translations of the Japanese ranks, then no, I don't think there's any use in having them there.

    If you read the General Rules towards the end (just before the Items), the very first rule explains this already.
