reverse BC escape

whenever I play as akira and do the RBC I can either follow up with an SDE combo or a throw on a dodger but if I'm playing the computer they always TA punch me out of SDE.I can never seem to struggle out of this move when its done to me does it depend on the character?

 

Not really--the SDE can always be escaped. You just have to struggle a bit more.
