    Yeap, Sony made the price cut before MS. Clever.

    Well I wouldn't call it "clever"

    More they are cutting it due to the rumors MS is going to, funny how they did it now when the MS rumors started last week. No matter how much market share Sony has a $299 PS2 would not fare good against a $199 Xbox.

    You've got to keep up with the market. You're either proactive or reactive... Shoot or get shot... Definitely not a time for Pride to decide the price of consoles. Sony's playing for keeps; good for them. I wish MS would get more titles worth owning. Could be a good strategy to own both. By blessing and good fortune, I currently do. Of course, if you're expecting something extraordinary to happen on GameCube...
