i always play Kage but this shit plays Jacky and I CANT WIN! i always win.... but aganist my bro. please help. i'm an oldplayer but i dont understand... he uses Jacky's powerfull combos very well i cant throw him, i cant go closer.. /versus/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

 

I feel your pain! Jackie has his weaknesses just like any other. Ive had my fair share of cheezy ahhh, stuff from characters . It took a pretty long time for me to figure out what to do, it's mainly dependent on your opponent. Learn what he does , try to remember the sequence so that you can break it down. Go to practice mode and record what gives you the most distress and figure out a reply. If I can beat Jackie with Jeff, then I know you can with Kage. http://www.crystalbargains.com/Keeper.wmv

i think i must try to evade his long combos and attack at range distance if i get closer he always pull off his deadly combos. uhh thanks man! i shell write about my results.

 

jackie's big combos? well if u get hit by lightning kick combos on the first hit u can block in the middle u noe tha rite? btw if they FINISH the lightning kick combos, its always guranteed throw for u if u block it /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif and well if u get floated ... haha then u basically cant do much till u can TR, buh kage has a lotta stradegies for getting close, maybe try +? its a really far attack tha dodges all high attacks, so it should help if u wanna get closer, if u DO get close enough to jacky though, say, close enough to be thrown, then always escape and , those r jacky's best cards for grabbing. jacky's LOOONNNNG combos, usually can sweep u off u feet, as they end with a low attack, so be sure to remember tha, and watch for jacky's foot positions, good luck

Lightning kicks... who the hell uses lightning kicks?

Against Jacky's canned strings, like the ones starting with his backfist or beat knuckle, you can generally just block low (other than , of course) [edit: DURING the string, not at the beginning].. Most of the string-enders are either high or low, so you'll block it or it'll go over your head. BUT.. a good Jacky (well, a good anyone, really) is not gonna rely on canned strings much, or will stop a string mid-way and toss out an elbow or something. And if you're ducking and eat a , you have problems in store.

Lol.. I miss Jacky's shitty + from VF4.. If that thing actually swept you off your feet you could TR and successfully pressure Jacky because of his little victory dance.. Craptastic.
