I just want to come to this thread and offer myself up for any questions, comments, concerns, thoughts, etc regarding the show & VF5 this year.

I am a VF & Lau loyalist. I have been playing Lau and almost only Lau since VF1. I was most serious about VF4 to be honest because it came out during my college days and we played it almost every week with roomates for 4+ years. When 5 became big, I had stepped away so I am relearning him with the new edition.

In regard to the Sega/VF partnership, I was also the point person from our team. So I can help with any questions if people are curious. Ofc, I cannot say anything I'm not allowed to say but...by 10am tomorrow, you'll likely know everything I know heh.

Now that we have you here, I do have a question actually:

Since the tourney will happen before the release of REVO, I'm wondering whether you will be using the build from the beta (which is the same as VF5US on PS4)? or will you be using a later, say, near-release build?

I'm sure by VF6 he will be half-AI which will make him faster and more explosive.

As far as the build FOR the tournament, here is what I KNOW. If you are at home practicing on VF5 2.0 on console, the tournament experience will be identical. But played on Steam ofc. To be fair, I didn't even think there would be two different builds? But anything is possible. Since SEGA is coming to execute the setups for us, I know it is not a build they can send us. They will be traveling with them. So...I think we'll find out together!

An understandable question. Enough t-shirts have been purchased for every single one of the 256 players to be offered one. The challenge is sizes. How are we to be able to predict the exact number of players who wear a medium or 2XL? We don't. So more than 256 were ordered to try and be as accommodating as possible, in the hopes every single player gets one. But one thing we cannot guarantee is you will get the exact size you are looking for. We used FF merch data to compile the best list possible though so I'm not too worried about it to be honest. Worst case, some of the later people to show up and collect might have to pick a slightly bigger size. Hard to say for sure but, a lot of care went into picking the RIGHT quantities. And we over ordered.

TINY typo, the Top 8 Stream has now been bumped to 9pm, as we need to make room for the Top 24. Please be aware we are ONLY able to stream top 8.
