different training stage in VF4: evo

i went thru the quest mode to unlock all of the four different training stage. however, i dont know how to select those stages. i looked through some forums and they said to "go to VS mode and select it when choosing the stages to play in". this is where im lost, bc when i picked two characters to play in VS mode, the stages that i got is random. can someone show me how to select the training stages for me.

 

Sorry to bust you on this, but this is classic RTFM (Read The Fucking Manual) stuff. Go to options.

 

In the options menu, Game Settings, go down to the bottom and change Stage Select from Random to Select.

Then, when you go to VS and pick your characters, the extra stages are off the screen to the right or the left.
