Available on the 30th, or SHIPPING on the 30th?

Anyone know for sure? I got work on Wednesday so I'd hate to not have it tomorrow... :\

Many stores already have it but will not sell till the 30th. Some stores also order late or order ON the 30th. Depends on the store. Toys Are Us is usually a lot more reliable for getting early than Gamestop and Best Buy.

Damn, I have a gift card for Best Buy that I planned on using for VF5 but they're site has it listed as being available on the 31st. Here's to hoping it comes in a day early.

I was told I'll be able to pick it up first thing in the morning tomorrow at gamestop in Oklahoma.. take that for what you will.

Im going to Walmart at midnight tonight, I'll let you know if Im able to get it... Atleast we'll know if it shipped.

Yeah, I'm really concerned about this. I'd hate to wait till after 7 PM on Wednesday just to play it.

That's my plan as well. I stopped by mine today to ask if they had it, and got some rude lady (or maybe she was just busy, in a bad mood), who quickly answered "No I don't think we do" without checking lol. Fingers crossed homies. Best of luck to everyone getting it early -

I hate being treated like a second class citizen because I want a game ASAP, so I never bother to call and confirm. Beside that, I was able to get GH2 right at midnight so I really hope I get this tonight. I actually bought a new LCD tv on Friday... just for VF!

I'd check at midnight, but I'd be sleeping. xP I might call or I'll have my dad run up to Gamestop first thing in the morning to see if I can get my order. I sure hope I can, I don't feel like waiting an extra day.

No luck here.

I JUST came back from Wally-World and they said that the game was not in and that UPS would deliver it around 7am.

Which is odd because I called earlier today and they said that they WILL be selling the game at midnight .

Oh well, after class tomorrow it is.

My dad just called Gamestop and they said they won't have it in until noon tomorrow.

Unlike other entertainment releases, most video game release dates are the ship date except for high profile titles like Final Fantasy, Madden, Halo, etc. The street date for these titles is actually the day after. Sadly, the rest of the gaming world doesn't garner as much interest for VF5 /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif As frustrating as it is, thats the way the cookie crumbles...as they say.

i cant find this game anywhere right now and ive checked maybe 12 different locations! and everyone is saying it will be available tomorrow so i finally broke down and reserved my damn copy! dammit...

WED it is, today is definately the shipping date.

I went by Circuit City and Wal-Mart today and the game was not there.

I'll call Wal-Mart 30 mins after midnight tonight to see if I can cop it.
