Arcade Stick acting funny

My arcade stick is acting funny. All the buttons work, but if you set it down on the floor or bend the wire, even slightly, its says "please reconnect the controller"

Should I buy a new one? Whats wrong with it?

 

Probably the USB cable of your EX2 is defective.

 

make sure the little wire at the end is connected properly to the main wire. Aside from that, be careful that you don't mess up your xbox with a bad stick.
