Remember when trailers weren't just small versions of the movie? There is an art to making a trailer that has all but disappeared.

 

Shiny: Prometheus is the ship, not the aliens.

I know that. I just named the new alien race that because they remain unnamed. I explained that in my first post. But now that I think about it the new alien race might have been referred to as the giants in some books but I could be wrong.

O and Rodney the spoilers are just pure speculation on my part. That's just how I think the movie is going to go. I am happy that I peaked your interest. If you ever want a great read you should look up aliens vs. predator vs. terminator comic. (yes it exists) It explains what happens to the Ripley clone after Alien resurrection plus Xenomorph-terminator(one of the most badass things you will ever see).

 

Graphically putting Avatar to shame? No not even close.

Putting Avatar to shame by Actually being entertaining? Yup.

 

FarCry 2 was a really interesting setting, and the engine looked great. The game itself was mediocre due to a few glaring design flaws, but they had a framework to build on.

I'm not sure why FarCry 3's devs at Ubisoft feel the need to sell their game using CGI like it's 1999 or something though

Hey, remember in the original movie when Dallas, Lambert and Kane got back into the Nostromo And Kane had that Nostromo on him? but then they were in the Nostromo sick bay and the Nostromo came off and kane was fine but then they were eating in the Nostromo Cafeteria and then the Nostromo burst out of Kane and then ran away, hiding in the Nostromo? and then? when the crew of the Nostromo went to find the Nostromo that was hiding in the Nostromo but didn't realize that the Nostromo was growing at a remarkable rate while running around in the Nostromo?

Ha ha. Ok I get it. I called them that cause it was the name of the movie. So what do you suggest I call the "Prometheus" race?

Space Jockeys (yes, seriously!). That's what the pilot alien was originally referred to by Scott, Giger and the Alien production crew.

 

Then its official. We will call them Space Jockeys.

I saw this over the weekend. Best action film I've seen in years.


After seeing this I'd think it would be sweet if a new character had some style of Silat in the next VF game.
