Online Wolf training

You have to keep in mind that I am not only a beginner in terms of VF5 but to the series as a whole.

I'm getting better with my throw escapes and my struggles though.

I have some major input problems every once in a while though.

I blame it on my controller, the stick is very loose. Diagonals rarely work.

I have to switch from D-Pad to thumbstick continuously, I'm getting an arcade stick for my 360 soon though.

 

That combo doesn't work anymore. I used to use it so much in Evo, but now the elbow knocks down instead of staggering, so it's doesn't work anymore (unless someone has been able to do it in version C, but I want video proof).

The Emerald Frosion combo works from the chop though.

That's the one I have to use now. The problem I sometimes have with the Pedigree is that I sometimes end up back crouch dashing and messing up the throw, so I usually go for /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif (Big Bridge Hammer, I think).

I really wish they hadn't removed the KS combo. It took me a while to adjust, because I'd do the chop, then go for the elbow and end up with them on the floor. It was an unfortunate loss for Wolf, but he still has /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif -> low throw and now /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif -> /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif. These are both ample replacements.

Which do you think is better? Pedigree does more damage but can be escaped, whereas the Emerald Frosion does less, but is unescapable.

 

While it's not guaranteed or trivial input wise, if you can get people with full charge /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, think of it as you just unplugged their controller for a split second.

 

I know that it's especially great when someone decides to turtle up on it. They don't stand a chance as it eats through their guard.

Is there any possible way for an opponent to recover from the max /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif other than showing them mercy and not following up on it?

 

the opponent must struggle out of the stagger. the best way to do this is to input directions in a circular movement and mash PKG
