FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

• Do I have to stay at the Ayres Hotel?
  • Staying at the Ayres Hotel is optional, but it is a wonderful hotel and will afford you a completely full experience at a great price with the block rate! If you have other staying arrangements, that is totally fine.
• Is there good food nearby?
  • There is a good variety of food nearby! For those eating on a budget, the hotel is located next to a Costco and across the street are fast food options like McDonald's, Carl's Jr (Hardee's), and Jimmy John's. There are also very high end restaurant options as Manhattan Beach is a very premium area.
• So is there a tournament happening?
  • The tournaments are occurring during the MAIN EVENT on October 10th & 11th. The link will be provided below. They do require registration and there will be registration and venue fee that will be contributing to prizes but also contributing to running this event. Registration links will be posted on the MAIN EVENT listing. There will be at least three tournaments! More information will be posted soon!

UPDATE ON HOTEL ROOMS @ AYRES

• ALL 15 ROOMS IN THE BLOCK HAVE BEEN BOOKED, HOWEVER, AT THIS TIME THERE MIGHT BE A FEW ROOMS AVAILABLE.

• “LOS ANGELES GATHERING LAG” promo rate of $159 per room will still be available for LAG attendees booking any remaining rooms today.

• AYRES HOTEL RESERVATIONS during LAG is at high occupancy so there really aren’t many rooms left.

• For anyone wanting to book today on the LOS ANGELES GATHERING LAG promo rate, you will want to call

• We will open up roommates discussion soon if anyone is looking for roommates on their existing booking.

• Today (September 12th) is the last day of the promo rate. It’ll probably be $188 per night and above after this at AYRES. But there are many wonderful hotels nearby

• (Also letting people know that reservations at hotels booked with the hotel directly are charged upon arrival—which might be different from what you might be used to if you use booking sites)

• Currently we are at 35+ totally confirmed attendees at LAG but we have quite a few we are certain are going and sone people still working it out. No surprise, LAG IS GOING TO BE AMAZING!
